Holland St Productions is an independent production company based in Perth, Western Australia. It was formed in 2008 to be a unifying banner for various film and theatre projects and since 2010 has been run as a partnership between Company Directors Robert Woods and Tyler Jacob Jones. Their focus is developing exciting original ideas and bringing them to the stage and screen.

Successes for Holland St Productions throughout the last few years include the World Premiere season of 'Delicious House', an original musical by Robert Woods that was presented in partnership with MESH Youth Musical Theatre Company (2010), the web series trailer 'Dragon Conquest', which was a finalist in the inaugural Movie Extra Webfest competition (2011) and the original musical 'Falling to the Top', by Woods and Jones, which won the Artrage Award for Best WA Theatre Production at Perth's 2013 Fringe World Festival.

Woods and Jones' collaboration 'Point & Shoot: A New Musical' premiered at FRINGE WORLD 2014, winning the Artrage Theatre Award for the second year running as well as the coveted Martin Sims Award. The productions toured later in 2014 to Brisbane Arts Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, (where it won the Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre & Cabaret,) and the Melbourne Fringe Festival. 'Point & Shoot' was also the first Holland St production toured internationally in 2015 to the Brighton Fringe Festival in the UK, earning an Argus Angel Award in the first week, and taking away the Argus Archangel Award for the Brighton Fringe. Whilst in the UK, the show was also invited to perform at the Off-West End theatre, The King's Head, in London.

In 2016 the team premiered another original musical 'Dr. Felicity Rickshaw's Celebrity Sex Party' at FRINGE WORLD, again winning the WA Theatre Award. The show then toured to Busselton Fringe to great success. In the middle of the year, Holland St collaborated with Ability Centre to adapt an original musical, 'An Extraordinary Tale', by Perth writer and composer Steve Robinson. The show was well received by local audiences. 2016 also saw the first season of a pre-existing work, not written by any on the Holland St team. 'Gutenberg! The Musical' was a superb showcase of the talents of Tyler Jacob Jones and Andrew Baker onstage, and the Off-Broadway show received fabulous reviews from all who attended.

2017 saw 'Dr Felicity Rickshaw's Celebrity Sex Party' return to Busselton Fringe and FRINGE WORLD, with the new abridged version of 'An Extraordinary Tale' as Holland St's first family friendly Fringe offering.

In another first, 'Falling To The Top: A Musical Trashtacular' was the maiden Jones Woods show to performed by a group other than Holland St. It was performed at Bunbury Fringe and Bussleton Fringe.

In 2018, the Holland St team continued the successful debut of new shows at FRINGE WORLD, with the new cabaret 'What Doesn't Kill You [blah blah] Stronger' winning the WA West Australian Arts Editor Award as well as the Martin Sims Award. The show was invited to perform at Melbourne Cabaret Festival, before a return season of 'Gutenberg!' at the Subiaco Theatre Festival mid year. 'What Doesn't Kill You...' returned to FRINGE WORLD 2019, alongside a rerun of 'Dr Felicity Rickshaw's Celebrity Sex Party'.

'What Doesn't Kill You...' made it's UK debut at Brighton Fringe Festival in May, 2019, and was shortlisted for the Brighton Gin Circus & Cabaret Award.

Robert has since been busy working on films, including the award winning 'An Ideal Host' written by Tyler Jacob Jones and starring some great Australian talent, whilst Tyler and Erin have been working on other theatre projects - some to come soon!
